حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِذَا وُضِعَتِ الْجِنَازَةُ فَاحْتَمَلَهَا الرِّجَالُ عَلَى أَعْنَاقِهِمْ، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ صَالِحَةً قَالَتْ: قَدِّمُونِي وَإِنْ كَانَتْ غَيْرَ صَالِحَةٍ قَالَتْ: يَا وَيْلَهَا أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِهَا ؟ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا الْإِنْسَانَ، وَلَوْ سَمِعَهَا الْإِنْسَانُ لَصَعِقَ

Translation

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When the Janazah (prepared body) is placed (on the bier) and the men lift it onto their shoulders, if it was a righteous person it says: Take me quickly, take me quickly. And if it was not a righteous person it says: Woe to me! Where are you taking me! And everything hears its voice except man, and if man heard it he would faint."'     يرويه سعيد بن أبي سعيد المقبري وقد اختلف عنه فرواه ابن أبي ذئب عن المقبري عن عبد الرحمن عن أبي هريرة وخالفه عبد الحميد بن جعفر فرواه عن المقبري عن أبي هريرة ولم يذكر بينهما أحدا وخالفه ليث بن سعد فرواه عن المقبري عن أبيه عن أبي سعيد الخدري عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقول الليث وابن أبي ذئب محفوظان ورواه عبد الله العمري واختلف عنه فقال إسحاق الفروي عن العمري عن المقبري عن أبي هريرة وقال عبد العزيز بن عبد الله الأويسي عنه عن سعيد المقبري عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة وكلهم أسندوه وقال همام عن محمد بن عجلان عن المقبري عن أبي هريرة غير مرفوع
