Musnad Ahmad 11551

Translation

✧ A man was stricken in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ concerning fruits he had purchased, and his debt became great. He said, “The Messenger of God ﷺ said, ‘Give charity to him.’” He said, “So the people gave charity to him, but that did not reach the repayment of his debt. So the Messenger of God ﷺ said, ‘Take what you find, and you have nothing but that.’”
