✧ We used to receive dates of mixed quality—and Yazid said: dates of mixed quality—during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and we would sell two sāʿs for one sāʿ. This reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “No two sāʿs of dates for one sāʿ, no two sāʿs of wheat for one sāʿ, and no two dirhams for one dirham.”
