حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ أُخْتِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تُقَاتِلُوا قَوْمًا صِغَارَ الْأَعْيُنِ، عِرَاضَ الْوُجُوهِ، كَأَنَّ أَعْيُنَهُمْ حَدَقُ الْجَرَادِ، كَأَنَّ وُجُوهَهُمُ الْمَجَانُّ الْمُطْرَقَةُ، يَنْتَعِلُونَ الشَّعَرَ وَيَتَّخِذُونَ الدَّرَقَ حَتَّى يَرْبُطُوا خُيُولَهُمْ بِالنَّخْلِ.

✧ The Hour will not come until you fight a people with small eyes, broad faces, whose eyes are as if they were locusts' eyes, whose faces are as if they were layered shields, who wear hair sandals and use shields, until they tie their horses to the palm trees.
