حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ
إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ لِرَبِّهِ: بِعِزَّتِكَ وَجَلَالِكَ لَا أَبْرَحُ أُغْوِي بَنِي آدَمَ مَا دَامَتِ الْأَرْوَاحُ فِيهِمْ، فَقَالَ اللهُ: فَبِعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَا أَبْرَحُ أَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَغْفَرُونِي

✧ Indeed, Iblis said to his Lord: By Your might and majesty, I will not cease to lead astray the children of Adam as long as their souls are in them. Allah said: By My might and majesty, I will not cease to forgive them as long as they seek My forgiveness.
