✧ We were detained on the day of the Trench from the prayers until after sunset, a while after. That was before what was revealed about fighting had come down. When the fighting was over—that is His saying: 'And Allah sufficed the believers in fighting, and Allah is Strong, Mighty'—the Prophet ﷺ ordered Bilal, and he called the iqamah for Zuhr, and he prayed it as he would pray it in its time. Then he called the iqamah for Asr, and he prayed it as he would pray it in its time. Then he called the iqamah for Maghrib, and he prayed it as he would pray it in its time.
