✧ The thing I fear most for you is what Allah brings out from the plants of the earth and the splendor of this world. A man said: O Messenger of Allah, does good bring evil? He remained silent until we thought revelation was descending upon him. He said: And he was overcome by breathlessness and sweat, then said: Where is the questioner? The man said: Here I am, and I intended only good. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Good brings only good. Good brings only good. Good brings only good. But this world is green and sweet, and whatever spring vegetation grows can kill by bloating or nearly do so, except for the eater of green pasture. For it eats until its flanks are extended, then it faces the sun, defecates and urinates, then returns and eats again. Whoever takes it with its due right will be blessed in it, and whoever takes it without its due right will not be blessed, and will be like one who eats but is never satisfied.
