حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ، وَلَا نَصَبٌ، وَلَا حَزَنٌ، وَلَا سَقَمٌ، وَلَا أَذًى، حَتَّى الْهَمِّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

Translation

  2. Muḥammad b. Isḥāq
  3. Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. ʿAṭāʾ
  4. ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasārʿan Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No fatigue, nor exhaustion, nor sorrow, nor illness, nor harm befalls a believer, even the worry that troubles him, except that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it.”
