✧ When Friday comes, the angels stand at the doors of the mosque and record the people in the order of their arrival: the first, then the next. The one who comes early to Friday prayer is like one who sacrifices a camel, then like one who sacrifices a cow, then like one who sacrifices a ram, then like one who sacrifices a chicken, then like one who sacrifices an egg. When the imam comes out and sits on the pulpit, they fold up their scrolls and sit listening to the remembrance.
