حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ

حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا قَالَ: يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ: فَلَوْ وَجَدْتُ الظِّبَاءَ سَاكِنَةً مَا ذَعَرْتُهَا.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made sacred what is between its two lava tracts—he said: meaning Madinah—and he said: 'If I found gazelles dwelling there, I would not disturb them.'
