حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَمَثَلِ الصَّائِمِ الدَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ الَّذِي لَا يَفْتُرُ مِنْ صِيَامٍ وَصَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ.

✧ The example of the one who strives in Allah's cause is like the one who fasts continuously and stands in prayer without ceasing from fasting and prayer until he returns.
