حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ الأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْخَذْفِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَقْتُلُ الصَّيْدَ وَلاَ يُنْكِي الْعَدُوَّ وَإِنَّهُ يَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ وَيَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ

Translation

✧ From ʿAbdullah b. Mughaffal al-Muzani, he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade slings and said: 'It does not kill game nor wound the enemy, and it puts out the eye and breaks the tooth.'"
