Calling someone by the name he loves the most

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ذَيَّالُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ حِذْيَمَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يُدْعَى الرَّجُلُ بِأَحَبِّ أَسْمَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ وَأَحَبِّ كُنَاهُ

Translation

✧ My grandfather Hanzalah b. Hidhyam narrated to me. He said: The Prophet ﷺ liked for a man to be called by the name he loved most and the kunya he loved most.
