حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ
عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ هَاجَتْ رِيحٌ مُنْتِنَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ نَاسًا مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ اغْتَابُوا أُنَاسًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَبُعِثَتْ هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ لِذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ From Jabir, who said: A stinking wind blew during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Some people among the hypocrites backbit some people among the Muslims, so this wind was sent for that."
