حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ عُرْفُطَةَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَارْتَفَعَتْ رِيحٌ خَبِيثَةٌ مُنْتِنَةٌ فَقَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذِهِ؟ هَذِهِ رِيحُ الَّذِينَ يَغْتَابُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Translation
✧ From Jabir b. ʿAbdullah, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a foul, stinking wind rose. He said, "Do you know what this is? This is the wind of those who backbite the believers."
