Do not curse the wind

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ الزُّرَقِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرِّيحُ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللهِ تَأْتِي بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالْعَذَابِ فَلاَ تَسُبُّوهَا وَلَكِنْ سَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The wind is from the mercy of Allah. It brings mercy and punishment. Do not curse it, but ask Allah for its good and seek refuge in Allah from its evil.”
