Deliberation in Affairs

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلأَشَجِّ أَشَجِّ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ إِنَّ فِيكَ لَخَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللَّهُ الْحِلْمُ وَالأنَاةُ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to al-Ashajj, Ashajj of ʿAbd al-Qays, "You have two qualities that Allah loves: forbearance and deliberateness."
