حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ

عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ وَأُمِّهِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَجُوزًا وَأَخِيهِ وَأُخْتِهِ وَأَبِيهِ

Translation

✧ From Jābir, he said: A man should ask permission from his child, his mother—even if she is old—his brother, his sister, and his father.
