حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا عَائِشُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لاَ أَرَى تُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
Translation
'A'isha reported, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ''A'ish! This is Jibril who sends you greetings.' I said, 'And peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. You see what I do not see." By that she meant the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
