حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ - يَعْنِي بُرْدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ - عَنْ عُتبَةَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ:
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ، فَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ كَاشِفٍ عَنْ فَخِذِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ يَا مَعْمَرُ، فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَ مِنَ الْعَوْرَةِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out and we went out with him. He passed by a man from Banu 'Adi who had uncovered his thigh, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Cover your thigh, O Ma'mar, for the thigh is part of the 'awrah.'
