حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ،

" أَنَّهُ نَهَضَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَسَبَّحُوا بِهِ، قَالَ: فَاسْتَتَمَّ قَائِمًا قَالَ: وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَتَرَوْنِي أَجْلِسُ ؟ إِنَّمَا صَنَعْتُ كَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَنَعَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ He stood up after two rak'ahs and they said subhan Allah to him. He said: He remained standing. He said: And he prostrated the two prostrations of forgetfulness when he finished. Then he said: Do you think I should sit? I did only as I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do.
