حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ: أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ. قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أُشَافِهَ بِذَلِكَ سَعْدًا، فَلَقِيتُهُ، فَذَكَرْتُ لَهُ مَا ذَكَرَ لِي عَامِرٌ، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، سَمِعْتُ، قُلْتُ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ ؟ فَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ، وَإِلَّا فَاصْطَكَّتَا "

✧ He said to 'Ali: 'You are to me in the position of Harun to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me.' Sa'id said: I wished to hear that directly from Sa'd, so I met him and mentioned to him what 'Amir had told me. He said, 'Yes, I heard it.' I said, 'You heard it?' He inserted his two fingers into his ears and said, 'Yes, and if not, may they be deaf!'
