حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الطَّحَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْكَاهِلِيُّ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَدَّ أَبْوَابَ النَّاسِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَفَتَحَ بَابَ عَلِيٍّ، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَنَا فَتَحْتُهُ، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ فَتَحَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ closed the doors of the people in the mosque and opened the door of Ali. The people spoke about that, so he said: I did not open it; rather God opened it.
