✧ Shahr b. Hawshab from Abu Hurayrah

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ سِتٌّ، قَالَ: مَا هُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا لَقِيتَهُ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِذَا دَعَاكَ فَأَجِبْهُ، وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَكَ فَانْصَحْ لَهُ، وَإِذَا عَطَسَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَشَمِّتْهُ، وَإِذَا مَرِضَ فَعُدْهُ، وَإِذَا مَاتَ فَاتَّبِعْهُ

Translation

  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The Muslim has six rights over another Muslim. He said: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: When you meet him, greet him with salam; when he invites you, accept his invitation; when he asks you for counsel, give him sincere counsel; when he sneezes and praises Allah, Mighty and Majestic, say yarhamuk Allah (may Allah have mercy on you); when he falls ill, visit him; and when he dies, follow his funeral.
