وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
كَرَمُ الْمُؤْمِنِ تَقْوَاهُ، وَمُرُوءَتُهُ عَقْلُهُ، وَحَسَبُهُ دِينُهُ، وَالْجُبْنُ وَالْجُرْأَةُ غَرَائِزُ يَضَعُهَا اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَيْثُ شَاءَ، فَالْجَبَانُ يَفِرُّ مِنْ أَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ، وَالْجَرِيءُ يُقَاتِلُ عَمَّا لَا يُبَالِي أَنْ لَا يَئُوبَ بِهِ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ The nobility of the believer is his piety, his manly virtue is his intellect, his lineage is his religion. Cowardice and daring are innate dispositions that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, places wherever He wills. The coward flees from his own father and mother, while the daring one fights for what he does not care whether it returns him to his family.
