✧ They dig every day until they almost see the rays of the sun, then they say: We will return to it tomorrow. They return and it is as strong as it was. When their time is complete and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, wants to send them upon the people, they say: We will return to it, if Allah wills, tomorrow. They return to it as they left it and dig it, or as he said. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The people will flee from them into their fortresses, or as he said. Al-Mu'tamir said: My father said: From Qatadah: They shoot arrows into the sky and they return to them with blood on them, so they say: We have prevailed over the earth and subdued the people of the sky, or as he said. He said: Then Allah sends upon them worms in their necks, and they kill them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Even their beasts grow fat and proud from eating their flesh, or as he said.
