حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَزَلَ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ، فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ، فَأَمَرَ بِجَهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَحُرِقَتْ، فَأُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ: أَلَا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ؟.

✧ A prophet among the prophets encamped under a tree, and an ant bit him. He ordered his baggage to be taken out from under it, then he ordered it to be burned. It was revealed to him: 'Why not a single ant?'
