حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَبَّرَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَسْكُتُ بَيْنَ التَّكْبِيرِ وَالْقِرَاءَةِ

Translation

  1. Manṣūr b. Abū Muzāḥim
  2. Muḥammad b. Fuḍayl
  3. ʿUmārah b. al-Qaʿqāʿ
  4. Abū Zurʿah
  5. Abū Hurayrah

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pronounced the takbir in prayer, he would remain silent between the takbir and the recitation.
