حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الرُّومِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَثَلُ الْمُنْفِقِ عَلَيْهَا كَالْمُتَكَفِّفِ بِالصَّدَقَةِ

Translation

✧ Good is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection. The likeness of the one who spends on them is like the one who extends his hand in charity.
