وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ: الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ، إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ فَهُوَ لِي، وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ؛ يَتْرُكُ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّهْوَةَ، وَيَتْرُكُ الشَّرَابَ لِشَهْوَتِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِي، هُوَ لِي، وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

Translation

✧ Every deed of the son of Adam belongs to him: a good deed is multiplied tenfold up to seven hundred times, except fasting, for it is Mine, and I reward for it; he leaves food and desire, and he leaves drink for his desire for My sake. It is Mine, and I reward for it.
