وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَجَهْدِهَا إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا - أَوْ شَهِيدًا - يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. وَلَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا، إِلَّا أَبْدَلَهَا اللهُ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ، وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ No one endures its hardships and its severity except that I will be an intercessor - or a witness - for him on the Day of Resurrection. And no one leaves it out of aversion to it, except that Allah will replace it with what is better than it. And al-Madinah is better for them, if only they knew.
