وَبِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ مُوسَى، قَالَتْ:

ذُكِرَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عِنْدَ عَلِيٍّ، فَذَكَرَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَقَدِ ارْتَقَى مَرَّةً شَجَرَةً أَرَادَ أَنْ يَجْتَنِيَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ، فَضَحِكَ أَصْحَابُهُ مِنْ دِقَّةِ سَاقِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا تَضْحَكُونَ ؟ فَلَهُوَ أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ

Translation

  1. Um Mūsá

✧ Abdullah b. Mas'ud was mentioned in the presence of Ali, and he spoke of his virtue, then said: He once climbed a tree intending to pick fruit for his companions, and his companions laughed at the thinness of his shins. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Why do you laugh? His leg is heavier in the Balance on the Day of Resurrection than Mount Uhud.
