حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا ابْتُلِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالْقَضَاءِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَلَا يَقْضِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ، فَلْيُسَوِّ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالنَّظَرِ وَالْمَجْلِسِ وَالْإِشَارَةِ، وَلَا يَرْفَعْ صَوْتَهُ عَلَى أَحَدِ الْخَصْمَيْنِ

✧ When one of you is afflicted with judging between the Muslims, let him not judge while he is angry; let him treat them equally in looking, seating, and gesture, and let him not raise his voice over either of the two litigants.
