✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ clothed me in a silk suit from the fine silk garments that Fayruz had gifted to him. I wore the lower garment, and it was too wide and too long for me, so I dragged it, and I wore the upper garment, wrapping it around my head. Then he said, “O Abdullah, raise the lower garment, for whatever touches the dust down to below the ankles is in the Fire.” Abdullah b. Muhammad said: I have not seen anyone more diligent in tucking up the lower garment than Abdullah b. Umar.
