✧ When he threw the first pebble at the Jamrah that is next to the mosque—the mosque of Mina—he threw seven pebbles, saying Allahu Akbar with each pebble. Then he went forward in front of it and stood facing the qiblah, raising his hands and supplicating, and he would prolong the standing. Then he came to the second Jamrah and threw seven pebbles, saying Allahu Akbar with each pebble. Then he descended to the left, toward the valley, and stood facing the qiblah, raising his hands and supplicating. Then he came to the Jamrah at the Aqabah and threw seven pebbles, saying Allahu Akbar with each pebble. Then he departed and did not stand at it. Al-Zuhri said: I heard Salim narrate this from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ, and Ibn Umar used to do it.
