✧ We were walking with the Messenger of God ﷺ, and we passed by some boys among whom was Ibn Sayyad. The boys fled, and Ibn Sayyad sat down. It was as if the Messenger of God ﷺ disliked that, so the Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: "May your hands be dusty. Do you testify that I am the Messenger of God?" He said: "No, rather you testify that I am the Messenger of God." Umar said: "Will you permit me, O Messenger of God, to kill him?" The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "If he is the one you think, you will never be able to kill him."
