حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ، فَلَأُنَازِعَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْكُمْ، ثُمَّ لَأُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَيُقَالُ: إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ

Translation

✧ I will precede you to the Cistern, and I will surely contend for certain men among you, but I will be overcome concerning them. It will be said: “You do not know what they introduced after you.”
