وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ قَالَ:

بِئْسَ مَا لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ: نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَيْتَ، بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ، اسْتَذْكِرُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ لِعُقُلِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ How bad it is for one of you to say, 'I forgot such and such a verse,' rather he was made to forget. Recall the Quran, for it is swifter in slipping away from the hearts of men than camels from their hobbles.
