✧ Abu Musa and Salman b. Rabi'a were asked about a daughter, a son's daughter, and a sister. They said: 'The sister gets half and the daughter gets half.' Abdullah was asked, and he said: 'Then I would have gone astray and not be among the rightly guided. I say as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: the daughter gets half, the son's daughter gets one-sixth to complete two-thirds, and what remains goes to the sister.'
