✧ His mother and his maternal aunt entered upon Aisha and said: O Mother of the Believers, how did one of you act when she was menstruating? She said: She would tie a waist wrapper tightly, then the Prophet ﷺ would embrace her belly and what was above that. They said: How did he perform the major ablution? She said: He would pour water over his hands, then clean himself with water, then strike the ground with his hand, then pour water over his head three times. She said: As for us, we pour five times because of the braids. They said: Tell us about Ali. She said: What do you ask about a man who placed his hand in a spot of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and his soul flowed into his hand, and he wiped his face with it? They differed about his burial, and he said: The most beloved of places to God is the place where His Prophet was taken.
