✧ We have come to ask you about three things: about a man's voluntary prayer in his house, about ghusl from janabah, and about what is permissible for a man from his wife when she is menstruating. He said, 'Are you magicians? You have asked me about something no one has asked me about since I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He said: A man's voluntary prayer in his house is light, so whoever wishes may illuminate his house. Regarding ghusl from janabah, he said: He washes his private part, then performs wudu, then pours water over his head three times. Regarding the menstruating woman, he said: He may have what is above the waist wrapper.'
