حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

أَرِقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَيْتَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي جَاءَ يَحْرُسُنِي اللَّيْلَةَ، قَالَتْ: إِذْ سَمِعْنَا صَوْتَ السِّلَاحِ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: أَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، جِئْتُ أَحْرُسُكَ، قَالَتْ: فَنَامَ حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ غَطِيطَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had insomnia one night, then he said, 'Would that a righteous man from my companions came to guard me tonight.' She said, 'Then we heard the sound of weapons.' He said, 'Who is this?' He said, 'I am Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas; I came to guard you.' She said, 'Then he slept until I heard his snoring.'
