✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ shielding me with his garment while I was watching the Ethiopians playing, and I was a young girl. So estimate the age of an inexperienced, young girl. She said: It was a day of Eid, and the Sudanese were playing with shields and spears. Either I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or he said: Would you like to watch? I said: Yes. So he stood me behind him, my cheek against his cheek, and he was saying: Go ahead, Banu Arfida! Until when I became tired, he said: Is that enough for you? I said: Yes. He said: Then go.

machine translationThe hadith of ʿĀʾishah is more authentic than the hadith of Nabhān, because Nabhān is not known for transmitting knowledge and narrates only two hadiths: this one, and the one about the mukātab, that if he has with him what he needs to pay, his mistress must veil herself from him. So the hadith of Nabhān is not to be acted upon, because it conflicts with the established hadiths.
