حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ، وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ، أَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ نَامَ

Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ retired to his bed and wanted to sleep while he was in a state of major ritual impurity before washing, he would perform a complete ablution and then sleep.
