حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَثْمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ يَعْنِي الْمَدَنِيَّ، أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَا يَكُونُ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ، فَإِذَا لَقِيَهُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِإِثْمِهِ مَعَ إِثْمِهِ

✧ It is not permissible for a Muslim to shun a Muslim for more than three days. If he meets him and greets him three times, and each time he does not return it, then he bears his sin along with his own sin.
