حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنِ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، فَاسْتَعَانَ عَلَيْهَا بِالْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَا عَلَيْهَا فَأَذِنَتْ لَهُمَا، فَكَلَّمَاهَا وَنَاشَدَاهَا اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] وَالْقَرَابَةَ وَقَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَهْجُرُ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ

✧ He mentioned the hadith, and he sought help against her from al-Miswar b. Makhrama and Abd al-Rahman b. al-Aswad b. Abd Yaghuth. They asked permission to enter upon her, and she permitted them. They spoke to her and adjured her by Allah [Mighty and Majestic], by kinship, and by the saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'It is not lawful for a Muslim man to desert his brother for more than three.'
