حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو عَطَاءً، عَنْ عَائِشِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ

قُلْتُ لِعَمَّارٍ: سَلْ لِي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ، فَإِنَّ ابْنَتَهُ تَحْتِي، وَإِنِّي أَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ، فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا وَجَدَ ذَاكَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

✧ I said to Ammar: Ask the Messenger of God ﷺ for me about pre-seminal fluid, for his daughter is married to me, and I am ashamed to ask him. So he asked him, and he said: When he finds that, he should perform ablution.
