حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَتْ:

كَانَ بِمَكَّةَ امْرَأَةٌ مَزَّاحَةٌ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِثْلِهَا، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَائِشَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: صَدَقَ حِبِّي، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: الْأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ، فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ، وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ

✧ There was in Makkah a witty woman, and she stayed with a woman like her. That reached Aisha, so she said: My beloved spoke the truth. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Souls are troops collected together; those among them that became acquainted with one another are in harmony, and those among them that repelled one another are at variance.
