✧ When the Day of Resurrection comes, the people will surge into one another. Adam will be brought, and they will say: "O Adam, intercede for your progeny." He will say: "I am not the one for it, but go to Ibrahim, for he is the intimate friend of God." Ibrahim will be brought, and he will say: "I am not the one for it, but you should go to Musa, for he is the one to whom God spoke." Musa, the chosen one of God, will be brought, and he will say: "I am not the one for it, but you should go to 'Isa, for he is the spirit of God and His word." 'Isa will be brought, and he will say: "I am not the one for it, but you should go to Muhammad ﷺ." So I will be brought, and I will say: "I am the one for it." I will go and ask permission from my Lord, and permission will be granted to me. I will stand before Him in a station where He will inspire me with praises that I am not able to articulate now, and I will praise Him with those praises. Then I will fall down in prostration before Him, and it will be said to me: "O Muhammad, raise your head, and speak and you will be heard; ask and you will be given; intercede and your intercession will be accepted." I will say: "O Lord, my community, my community." It will be said to me: "Go, and whoever has in his heart the weight of a grain of wheat or the weight of a grain of barley of faith, bring him out." So I will go and do that. Then I will return and praise Him with those praises, and fall down in prostration before Him. It will be said: "O Muhammad, raise your head, and speak and you will be heard; ask and you will be given; intercede and your intercession will be accepted." I will say: "O Lord, my community, my community." It will be said to me: "Go, and whoever has in his heart the weight of an atom or the weight of a mustard seed of faith, bring him out of it." So I will go and do that. Then I will return and praise Him with those praises, and fall down in prostration before Him. It will be said: "O Muhammad, raise your head, and speak and you will be heard; ask and you will be given; intercede and your intercession will be accepted." I will say: "O Lord, my community, my community." It will be said to me: "Go, and whoever has in his heart even the least, the least, less than the weight of a mustard seed of faith, bring him out of the Fire, out of the Fire, out of the Fire." When we returned from Anas, I said to my companions: "Would you like to go to al-Hasan? He is hiding in the house of Abu Khalifah among 'Abd al-Qays." So we came to him and entered upon him, and we said: "We have come from your brother Anas, and we have never heard the like of what."
