حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ الْفَزَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالٌ أَبُو مُعَلَّى بْنُ هِلَالٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ:
أُهْدِيَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثَلَاثُ طَوَائِرَ، فَأَطْعَمَ خَادِمَهُ طَائِرًا، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ أَتَتْهُ بِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَلَمْ أَنْهَكِ أَنْ تَرْفَعِي شَيْئًا لِغَدٍ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَأْتِي بِرِزْقِ كُلِّ غَدٍ ؟
Translation

✧ Three birds were gifted to the Prophet ﷺ, and he fed his servant one of them. The next day she brought it back to him, so the Messenger of God ﷺ said to her: “Did I not forbid you to set aside anything for tomorrow? For God brings the provision of every tomorrow.”
